While I’m loading the dishwasher, driving somewhere and mostly when I’m on the cross trainer at the gym.

It’s not a part time job or a full time job it’s a life style.Everything I do starts with an idea. I generate images and concepts by placing them in my psyche first. I look for things that I can get excited about, I paint or draw or both until I loose my enthusiasm. I am no longer concerned with the conventions of aesthetics. I just need to get everything out of me.I think there is a certain honesty with working that way.

My series “Men with hats” reflects that direct intuitive sensitivity in my life right now. This series began years ago and has re-emerged and continues to grow because of music and a renewed socialization in my life. I think my creative process has changed as well. I don't intellectualize my art I simply do it.
