Boy Girl Boy

This piece is about colour and the dynamics of colour. These "things" that exist on these planes have linear movement based on placement alone. When contrasting and complimentary colour is added each image begins to vibrate using the picture plane as a conduit for movement. The positioning of each square determines it's dynamic elements which affects the viewers comfort or discomfort with the composition.

BOY GIRL BOY refers to a seating arrangement that evokes togetherness and individuality at the same time. This painting is a recent projection of the last 4 pieces. I am beginning to see a huge potential for the "flying squares".
